I hold a monthly "Paint pARTy" at my north Austin studio....and twice monthly at Cafe Monet. It's a laid back social event for any one who wants to get their creativity on and hang out with other artistic types.

Whether you've never picked up a brush or you paint all the time, you'll learn something new and impress your friends with your paintings. Most of all, you'll have a great time!

We've all gone to the dogs! Austin Dog Alliance needs our help raising funds to keep doing the amazing work they do with rescued K9s and disabled children and many other great community programs.

You can help! For $30 you can paint a pair of wine glasses to donate to their Silent Art Auction (June 24). Then paint another pair of wine glasses to take home with you! And, you can also paint on pottery provided by Cafe Monet for a 20% discount of their regular prices...just for us!

But the best part of the evening is kicking back and meeting other artists...so come on by any time between 6-9 pm. BYO drinks and your favorite snacks...and we'll provide the art supplies and wine glasses. (Pottery is extra, so bring your cash or checkbook.)

The Austin Dog Alliance is a rescue organization dedicated to finding "forever homes" for dogs in shelters as well as a service-oriented organization committed to making a difference in the lives of people in the Austin area.
